Baird, a Purdue University graduate born in Covington, Indiana, highlighted meetings with military cadets, participation in a congressional tribute, and inquiries about livestock disease prevention.

On July 14, 2025, Baird posted about his recent interaction with military cadets: "Over the weekend, I had the honor of meeting with @WestPoint_USMA cadets. The future of the @USArmy is looking bright!"

The following day, July 15, Baird addressed a recent incident involving an assassination attempt on President Trump at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania. He stated: "I was proud to join my @RepublicanStudy colleagues to honor Corey Comperatore, a brave American hero who died protecting his family at the Butler, PA rally where an assassination attempt on President Trump took place. We also urged people to end the inflammatory rhetoric that"

Later on July 15, Baird reported his participation in a House Agriculture Committee session focused on animal health measures. He wrote: "Today in @HouseAgGOP, I asked about measures we can implement to protect our livestock, especially cows and pigs, from diseases."
