Jim Baird has served in Congress since 2019 after replacing Todd Rokita. Prior to his congressional tenure, he was part of the Indiana House of Representatives from 2010 to 2018 and served on the Putnam County Commission from 2006 to 2010. Born in Covington in 1945 and currently residing in Greencastle at age 77, Baird holds a degree from Purdue University.
