Congressman Jim Baird, representing Indiana’s 4th district since 2019, has been actively communicating via social media about legislative efforts and economic developments. Serving in Congress following his tenure in the Indiana House of Representatives and Putnam County Commission, Baird continues to share updates on his work with fellow lawmakers.

On May 12, Congressman Baird shared an optimistic message regarding upcoming legislative actions. He stated, "This week, my colleagues on @HouseAgGOP and I will do our part to deliver one big, beautiful bill to @POTUS's desk! Let the Golden Age of America begin!".

The following day, on May 13, he highlighted positive economic news concerning inflation rates. In a tweet, he noted that "The annual inflation rate is at its lowest since February 2021. The price of: ️Gasoline is down 11.8%. Public transportation is down 5.6%. Airline fares is down 7.9%. Food at home is down 2%." He added that both the House GOP and President Biden are committed to continuing efforts to lower prices and reduce inflation.

On May 14, Congressman Baird expressed his belief in the potential for positive change through governmental action. He tweeted about ongoing initiatives by stating that "I believe we have a real opportunity to do right by the American people." Furthermore, he emphasized the role of the House Agriculture Committee in supporting President Trump's agenda aimed at fiscal responsibility and reducing waste.
