Congressman Jim Baird, currently representing Indiana's 4th District in the U.S. Congress, has been active on social media, expressing his views and actions on various issues. His recent tweets cover topics ranging from local incidents to legislative efforts.

On May 5, 2025, Congressman Baird expressed his concern over an incident in Danville, Indiana. He stated: "I am saddened by the situation in Danville, IN. I thank the law enforcement officers and Indiana State Police for their swift response on the scene, and I will be monitoring this investigation as it unfolds."

The following day, May 6, 2025, he shared his commitment to serving with his Republican colleagues in Congress. He tweeted: "It's an honor to serve with my @HouseGOP colleagues and deliver real results for Hoosiers in Indiana's Fourth Congressional District! "

Later that same day, Baird announced a legislative initiative aimed at restricting funding related to certain United Nations organizations. He posted: "I was proud to introduce the NOPE Act with @SenatorRisch to prohibit funding from going to UN organizations that grant the Palestinian Authority or Palestine Liberation Organization status, rights, or privileges beyond observer status."

Congressman Jim Baird has served since replacing Todd Rokita in 2019 and previously held positions in both the Indiana House of Representatives and Putnam County Commission.
