Congressman Jim Baird, currently representing Indiana's 4th district, shared various updates on his official social media account regarding recent activities and announcements concerning his legislative work and community engagement.

On April 23, 2025, Congressman Baird expressed his pleasure in visiting students at Monrovia Middle School. In his social media post, he stated, "I was honored to visit Monrovia Middle School today to meet with sixth-grade students in their social studies class to share my insights on the legislative process! I hope these students understand their voices matter and they can make a difference in their communities." This visit was aimed at inspiring the young students about their potential impact on their communities.

Additionally, on April 24, 2025, Congressman Baird issued a reminder to students within Indiana's 4th District (IN-04) regarding an upcoming deadline for the annual Congressional Art Competition. He urged students to submit their artwork before the deadline, posting, "ATTENTION IN-04 STUDENTS: The 2025 Congressional Art Competition submission deadline is TOMORROW at 5 PM ET. Submit your artwork today!" The details of the submission process were provided through a linked resource.

In a separate update on the same day, Congressman Baird expressed gratitude towards government officials and agencies for addressing affordability issues surrounding eggs. Jim Baird, 77, has represented Indiana's 4th District in the U.S. Congress since 2019 after serving in the Indiana House of Representatives and the Putnam County Commission. Born in Covington, Indiana, he resides in Greencastle and is an alumnus of Purdue University, West Lafayette, having graduated in 1967.
