On April 21, 2025, Congressman Baird discussed a potential financial impact on families in Indiana's Fourth Congressional District. He indicated that a family of four could face an average tax hike of $1,548 if the Trump Tax Cuts are not extended. He stated, "My @HouseGOP colleagues and I are working with @POTUS to extend these tax cuts so our families, workers, and small businesses can thrive."

In an update on border security shared on April 22, 2025, Baird noted a significant decrease in illegal immigrant apprehensions at the southwest border, reporting a 94% drop from the previous March.
