Baird has served as U.S. Representative for Indiana’s 4th District since 2019 after succeeding Todd Rokita. He previously held positions in both the Indiana House of Representatives (2010–2018) and Putnam County Commission (2006–2010). Born in Covington, Indiana in 1945 and currently residing in Greencastle, Baird holds a bachelor’s degree from Purdue University obtained in 1967.
