Maxwell Schumacher, former Danville Community High School standout’s collegiate team plays on Thursday, May 15 in the NCAA Division II Baseball Championship

On Thursday, May 15, former Danville Community High School standout Maxwell Schumacher’s current collegiate team the West Alabama Tigers lost 4-5 against the Florida Southern Moccasins in the NCAA Division II Baseball Championship.

The game took place at Henley Field at 6 p.m. and was the first matchup against the Florida Southern Moccasins in the tournament.

The West Alabama Tigers’ next game will take place on Friday, May 16 at 2 p.m. at Henley Field.
