Prior to this role, he was part of the Indiana House of Representatives from 2010 to 2018 and served on the Putnam County Commission from 2006 to 2010. Born in Covington, Indiana in 1945 and currently residing in Greencastle, Baird holds a degree from Purdue University obtained in 1967.
