Congressman Jim Baird, who has been serving Indiana's 4th district since 2019, recently addressed several issues through his social media posts. Baird, a Purdue University graduate and former member of the Indiana House of Representatives, expressed concerns over a recent terror attack and highlighted local agricultural contributions as well as educational initiatives.

On June 2, 2025, Congressman Baird reacted to a violent incident in Boulder, Colorado. He described the event as "deeply troubling and horrific," specifically condemning antisemitic terrorism. He urged for unity by asking people to "join me in praying for the victims, their families, and the Jewish community during this time."

The following day, June 3, 2025, Baird celebrated National Egg Day by acknowledging the hard work of farmers in his home state. He expressed gratitude towards them with a post saying "Thank you to our farmers and producers in Indiana who work tirelessly every single day to provide us with this essential, nutritious food that fuels America!"

Later on June 3rd, Congressman Baird participated in an event focused on education and workforce development. He shared his experience of joining discussions at a community college about partnerships with the National Science Foundation (NSF). In his tweet he stated "I was honored to join @Comm_College to discuss how community colleges’ partnerships with the @NSF are crucial to workforce development and providing students with the technical skills they need to thrive in our modern economy."

Jim Baird continues to be an active voice for his constituents while addressing national concerns.
