Congressman Jim Baird, who represents Indiana’s 4th district, has been active on social media discussing legislative initiatives and achievements. Baird has served in the U.S. Congress since 2019, after succeeding Todd Rokita. Prior to his congressional service, he was a member of the Indiana House of Representatives and the Putnam County Commission.

On January 22, 2025, Congressman Baird announced his introduction of the Increased TSP Access Act with colleagues "@RogerMarshallMD and @SenatorBennet to address the Technical Service Provider shortages, eliminate bureaucratic red tape, and help farmers continue their conservation efforts!"

Later that day, Baird shared that "The House and Senate PASSED the Laken Riley Act to deport illegal aliens who commit certain crimes and keep innocent American citizens safe." He noted that this legislation would proceed to President Trump's desk for signing into law.

On January 23, 2025, Congressman Baird expressed pride in receiving an A+ rating from @sbaprolife’s scorecard, stating: "Every life is a precious gift, and I will continue to defend the right to life for the unborn."
