Congressman Jim Baird, who has been serving Indiana's 4th district in the U.S. Congress since 2019, recently shared a series of tweets reflecting on political and military events. A veteran with a history of public service, Baird replaced Todd Rokita in Congress and has also served in the Indiana House of Representatives and Putnam County Commission.
On December 12, 2024, Congressman Baird expressed his support for former President Donald Trump. He stated: "Congratulations, President @realDonaldTrump! House Republicans are ready to work with you to deliver on the America First agenda!"
The following day, December 13, 2024, he tweeted about the upcoming Army-Navy Game. As an Army combat veteran himself, he conveyed his allegiance by saying: "Tomorrow is the Army-Navy Game! As an Army combat veteran, I’m proud to say #GoArmyBeatNavy!"
Later that same day, Congressman Baird commemorated the anniversary of the National Guard's founding. He acknowledged their service with these words: "Happy 388th Birthday to the @USNationalGuard! Thank you to all the Guardsmen for your selfless service and dedication to defending our great nation. Always Ready, Always There!"
