5 Reasons to Experience Blues in the ‘Burg

Ready for two days of the country’s best blues artists performing live in Brownsburg?

If you’re looking for a fun, inexpensive night out for the whole family, then you won’t want to miss Blues in the 'Burg on September 9 and 10 at Arbuckle Acres Park.

Need more info before you go? We've got everything you need to know to have the best Blues in the 'Burg experience:

1. Admission is free!

Where else can you see six incredible, award-winning blues acts for free? There are no ticket or parking fees, but you'll want to bring extra cash for the food trucks and beer and wine garden.

Live Music

Enjoy two days full of great blues acts!

September 9

6-10 PM - Mike Dangeroux Orchestra

September 10

12:30-1:45 PM - the Cosmic Situation

2:15-3:30 PM - Queen Delphine and the Crown Jewels

4-5:30 PM - Tad Robinson

6-7:15 PM - Gracie Curran & the High Falutin' Band

7:45-9 PM - Black Jack Davey & the Rhythm Kings

Increased Accessibility

Thanks to a grant from the Parks Foundation of Hendricks County, a new Mobi-Mat will increase access at Blues in the 'Burg by creating a temporary pathway from the parking lot into the lawn, so wheel-chair-bound guests can enjoy the music festival from a great viewpoint. Easy access to the food truck area and restrooms will also be available.

In addition, Brownsburg Parks is partnering with K1ds Count to provide two sensory tents. These tents will provide a relaxing, quiet space for visitors to enjoy the festival. Headphones, special seating, fans, and weighted blankets will be available.

Plenty of Activities

We don't expect you to sit for the whole festival! There will be a dedicated kid's zone area with inflatables and yard games.

When: September 9 (6-10 PM) & September 10 (12:30-10 PM)

Where: Arbuckle Acres Park (200 N. Green St.)

What To Bring: Lawn chair or blanket
