Open For Business Summer 2022 Update

Brownsburg is Open For Business! We’re thrilled to share another quarterly update to highlight new businesses and changes to existing ones in Brownsburg.

In May, Acorn Distributors broke ground on a 125,000-sq. ft. facility located at the corner of E. Main St. and W. Northfield Dr. The janitorial and foodservice distributor plans to relocate its headquarters to Brownsburg in 2023.

Sephora at Kohl’s opened in July and offers a fully immersive beauty experience that mimics the look and feel of a freestanding Sephora. Products include makeup, skincare, hair, and fragrance brands.

Brown Skin Coffee, located in the Green St. Depot at 5724 N Green St. Suite 130, celebrated its grand opening in June. Owner Shana Tate operated exclusively as a mobile coffee bar for two years before deciding to invest in a brick-and-mortar storefront in Brownsburg. Enjoy single-origin coffee, loose leaf tea, wine, artwork, and live entertainment throughout the week.

Home décor store Mary & Martha is relocating from St. John, Indiana to the Green St. Depot. The retail shop plans to open in the fall and will offer unique décor and gifts.

Hoosier Hemp House opened at 211 E. Main St. in April.

Rose Promotions relocated to 221 E. Main St. in April. The larger retail location offers Brownsburg Bulldog spirit wear and gifts as well as marketing promotional items for businesses.

Gronde Photography relocated their studio to 405 E. Main St. 

Marketing Agency ASH Interactive relocated to 516 E. Main St. Owner Pete Brown is partnering with the Hendricks County Art Foundation to create the first public art space in Hendricks County. This 1,800 sq. ft. exterior wall space, called “The Spot” will be a regularly changing rotation of local and regional artists with the goal of providing our residents and visitors access to exciting new artworks, featuring public events to gather and interact with the artists. There’s a new breakfast place in Brownsburg! Visit the Breakfast Co., located next to the Brownsburg BMV Branch. Enjoy fresh, healthy breakfast options and a full lunch menu! 

The Locale opened in its new location at 923 E. Main St. in late June following a renovation of the former Pit Stop Barbecue location. The Locale menu features a variety of steak, seafood, and pasta dishes.

Legacy of Culture, a high-end shoe retailer, opened in the Small Business Hub of Brownsburg in late May.

Dollar General opened its new location at 1660 S. Green St.
