Cardiologist And Nurse Practitioner Join Franciscan Physician Network Munster Cardiology
An interventional cardiologist and a nurse practitioner are welcoming new patients after joining the team of heart specialists at Franciscan Physician Network Munster Cardiology.
Board certified interventional cardiologist Jagdeep Sabharwal, MD, FACC, FSCAI, received his training at University of Illinois Chicago School of Medicine and had his residency at University of Illinois Medical Center in Chicago. He also has a fellowship in interventional cardiology from Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan, and a fellowship in cardiovascular disease from Henry Ford Medical Center in Royal Oak, Michigan.
Dr. Sabharwal's clinical interests include coronary interventions, peripheral arterial disease, structural heart disease and cardiac imaging.
Board certified nurse practitioner Mohammad El-Ahmad, NP, received his training at Chamberlain University in Chicago. His clinical interests include heart failure, arrythmias, coronary artery disease, acute coronary syndrome and valvular heart disease.
