There were 169 Van Bibber Lake households (62.4 percent) who received food stamps. Van Bibber Lake's population was 659 in 2020.

The city with the lowest percentage of households receiving food stamps in the state was New Palestine, which had four of 1,011 households receiving food stamps, 62 percent less than Van Bibber Lake. In 2020 the population of New Palestine was 2,456.
