Join Us for Brown Skin Coffee Grand Opening June 8th!
Brown Skin Coffee, a coffee shop serving single-origin coffee, loose leaf tea, and wine from across the world, is celebrating its grand opening on June 8th.
The grand opening will include a ribbon cutting event, a set menu of drink and food tastings, and will feature a live jazz band.
The opening event will take place at 5724 Green Street, Suite 130 in Brownsburg, Indiana.
Shana Tate, founder, and owner, started Brown Skin Coffee two years ago as a mobile coffee bar, providing up to 15 drinks from the back of a mini car.
As her business flourished, she opened her first brick-and-mortar location in the heart of Brownsburg.
Brown Skin Coffee still caters to the Greater Indianapolis area through a fleet of mini cars circulating Indianapolis, Lebanon, and Greenwood.
“Every cup is a trip around the world” Tate explained, “we aim to cultivate an environment where other cultures are celebrated and create a sense of community for every customer that steps through the door”.
Brown Skin Coffee will host community events throughout the week, including a trivia night, an open mic night, and “Wine Down Wednesdays” starting in June.
Additionally, Brown Skin Coffee elevates local community artists by providing wall space for artists to display their art for purchase.
Roughly 50 paintings are currently on display from several different artists.
The name Brown Skin Coffee is derived from the artisanship of each coffee bean, which contains brown skin and a unique texture and taste depending on where it was developed.
