Upcoming Construction Summer Construction Projects in Brownsburg

Driving in Brownsburg this summer, residents will notice multiple infrastructure projects under construction. Learn more about these upcoming projects below.

Airport Rd. and Green St. Roundabout

Utility relocations have started in preparation for this project. Construction on a roundabout at the Airport Rd. and Green St. intersection will begin once school is out for the summer, on or after May 31. An official detour route will be shared at a later date. The road is proposed to reopen by late July, pending weather and supply chain delays. The project will be completed in mid-October.

S. Northfield Dr. and Hornaday Rd. Traffic Signal

Construction on a traffic signal at S. Northfield Dr. and Hornaday Rd. will begin this summer, with temporary lane restrictions during most of the project. The traffic signal will be full-functional at the end of September, pending weather and supply chain delays. Work will continue in the area through late October.

Raceway Boulevard

This new road, connecting Ronald Reagan Parkway to Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park, is currently under construction and scheduled to open in August, before the Dodge Power Brokers NHRA U.S. Nationals.

Main St./U.S. 136 Road Closure by INDOT

Main St., just west of Northfield Dr., will be closed by INDOT in June. The closure is expected to last just under three months.
