Ace Hardware Terre Haute will celebrate its grand opening on Saturday and Sunday.

The new Ace Hardware store, located at 2800 Poplar St., Suite 57, in Terre Haute, will bring "personal, knowledgeable and helpful service paired with quality home maintenance expertise and products" to residents of Indiana, according to an Ace Hardware press release.

“Our mission is to provide customers with the neighborly advice and assistance they have come to expect from Ace,” Ace Hardware Terre Haute Owner Steve Guernsey said in a statement. “We look forward to becoming a helpful and valuable neighbor to the community, both inside and outside the walls of our store.”

Everyday needs for home maintenance and high quality lawn, garden and paint products will be available to the Terre Haute community shopping in the aisles of the new store.

"The store is packed with thousands of essential products and supplies, including some of the most respected brand names and best-selling items to help people take care of their homes," Ace Hardware officials said in the release. "Key product offerings include paint, lawn and garden, hardware, electrical, plumbing, automotive and home décor, as well as niche products such as Yeti, Scotts, STIHL, Big Green Egg, Milwaukee, Ben Moore, Traeger, Weber."

Ace Hardware stores have been in business for more than 90 years. The company won the J.D. Power award for customer satisfaction eight years in a row in 2014. The organization has over 5,500 hardware stores that are locally owned and operated across the world.

"Headquartered in Oak Brook, Ill., Ace and its subsidiaries currently operate 14 distribution centers in the U.S. and also have distribution capabilities in Shanghai, China; Panama City, Panama; and Dubai, United Arab Emirates," Ace Hardware officials said. "Its retailers’ stores are located in all 50 states, the District of Columbia and approximately 60 countries."
