Cost of college went up for all students at DePauw University

Tuition and fees rose 3.9 percent for 2018-19 at DePauw University, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Indiana students paid $49,704 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year – $1,866 more than the $47,838 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 100 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 593 students received grants or scholarships totaling $19.8 million and 265 students took out student loans totaling more than $1.5 million.

Including all undergraduates (2,156), 2,097 students used grants or scholarships totaling $63.1 million, and 952 students took out $6.5 million in federal student loans.
