On Friday, March 14, former Avon High School standout Cannon Vandever’s current college team, the Evansville Purple Aces, lost 6-2 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Samford Bulldogs.

The game took place at Joe Lee Griffin Field. This was their second matchup against the Bulldogs this season.

The Purple Aces’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, March 16 at 1 p.m. at Joe Lee Griffin Field against Samford Bulldogs.
