Congressman Jim Baird, who has been serving Indiana's 4th district since 2019, shared several statements on social media recently. Baird succeeded Todd Rokita in Congress and has a background in both the Indiana House of Representatives and the Putnam County Commission.

On March 20, 2025, Congressman Baird commented on an executive order issued by President Trump. He stated: "My statement on President Trump’s Executive Order to return control over children’s education to parents, states, and local communities https://t.co/E0mKPK7CfR".

The following day, March 21, 2025, he expressed enthusiasm for college basketball's March Madness. He congratulated Purdue University's basketball team with: "March Madness is here! Congratulations to @BoilerBall on their first round WIN yesterday, and I wish them luck in the second round against McNeese State tomorrow! #BoilerUp".

Later that same day, Congressman Baird addressed agricultural issues concerning water treaties with Mexico. He thanked colleagues for their efforts: "Thank you to @RepMonicaDLC and @SecRollins for calling attention to this critical issue and working to put American farmers first! We must hold Mexico accountable for failing to comply with the water treaty and secure the water we are owed."
