Congressman Jim Baird, who represents Indiana's 4th District, has shared several updates on social media recently. Baird has been serving in the U.S. Congress since 2019 and previously held positions in the Indiana House of Representatives and the Putnam County Commission.

On January 21, 2025, Congressman Baird expressed his enthusiasm for welcoming constituents from Indiana's Fourth Congressional District to Washington, D.C., for President Trump's inauguration. He remarked on the event saying, "It was great to welcome hundreds of Hoosiers from Indiana’s Fourth Congressional District over the weekend to celebrate President Trump’s historic inauguration!"

The following day, January 22, 2025, Baird thanked Representative Randy Feenstra for their collaborative efforts to repeal the estate tax. In his message, he stated, "Thank you, @RepFeenstra! I'm proud to work with you to repeal the death tax and end this costly burden on grieving families and our farmers!"

Later that same day, Congressman Baird provided an update regarding his testimony before the Ways and Means Committee. He discussed how current tax policies affect family farms and small businesses while advocating for further tax cuts. His statement read: "This morning, I testified before @WaysandMeansGOP to discuss the impact tax policies have on family farms, small businesses, and our economy as a whole. As Congress works on the next round of Trump Tax Cuts, I will continue to advocate for policies that allow family farms and…"
