Enjoy Fall Fun At Hogan Farms In Brownsburg
Hogan Farms is a beautiful fall destination that the entire family will enjoy. Located in Brownsburg, the farm offers homegrown pumpkins, hayrides, a corn maze, delicious food and a kid's zone.
This year this fall attraction will open on Saturday, Oct.1, and the farm, located at 8900 E. County Road 1000 North, Brownsburg, Indiana, will be open through Oct. 30.
Here are the details you need to know before you go:
Pumpkins
Hogan Farms offers some of the finest pumpkins around. Their teams have already picked some for you and they will be ready for the taking when you arrive. You can also enjoy the fun of going into their field and picking your own perfect pumpkin.
With so many different shapes, sizes and even colors available, everyone is sure to find a pumpkin just right for them. Prices are determined by the size of the pumpkin.
Everyone loves the traditional orange pumpkin, but Hogan Farms gives you options. They also offer a selection of white and yellow pumpkins in various sizes that are always popular each season.
They also have crates full of various ghords and other options that make great accent pieces for your fall display at home.
Corn Maze
It just wouldn't be fall in Indiana without a corn maze. And this year's Wizard of Oz theme at Hogan Farms reminds us that there is no place like...our Central Indiana home!
From above, the maze depicts Dorothy along with her new friends, the Scarecrow, the Cowardly Lion and the Tin Man. Find your way through the maze and make sure you get back to your home by picking up a map and trivia to help guide you.
The maze will remain open every Friday-Sunday through Oct. 30.
A unique feature of this maze is that it is separated into two halves by a drainage ditch that runs between two fields. It provides a natural stopping point if your family or group gets tired or cranky and doesn't want to finish the entire maze.
The Hogan Farms staff recommends wearing boots, long pants and long sleeves for your corn maze adventure!
Hay Rides & Market
The fun doesn't stop at picking pumpkins and a corn maze. Two other Hogan Farm traditions include their hayrides and market.
Hayrides are offered Friday-Sunday with the first ride leaving at 11 a.m. and the last going out at 5:30 p.m.
Hogan Farms also offers a market made up of local vendors on Saturdays and Sundays. Some items you might find include local honey, soups, baked goods, candles and decorations.
If you need a quick snack or a warm drink, there will also be food trucks during certain weekends.
