DePauw University issued the following announcement on Feb. 16.
“My first time creating a larger production short film at DePauw was during winter term of my sophomore year. I was intimidated at first because we were supposed to write, produce, and edit a short film in three weeks. The experience was fun for me, however, and there were so many elements to production that I enjoyed learning. It was exciting to be involved in creating an entire production, from working with set design, to lights, to the special effects makeup. Everyone on the production team played a huge role in how the short film turned out, and seeing others reactions to it was worth it. That was when I knew for sure what I wanted to pursue for my career.”
