30 percent of DePauw University students played sports on university teams in 2017-2018

In 2017-2018, 30 percent of DePauw University students participated in collegiate sports, according to data made available by the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES).

DePauw University has a total student body of 2,156 students, of which 53 percent are women and 47 percent are men. Of these students, 417 men and 230 women represented the school by participating in one or more of the sports with teams at the school.

This total does not include students playing intramural sports.

According to NCES, 8.7 percent of students enrolled at institutions of higher education with sports teams were on teams.

The sports at DePauw University with the most participants are all track combined (160), football (129) and soccer (72).
